What We’re Looking For


Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Senior Manager, IT Projects and Programs to join our team! The Senior Manager, IT Projects and Programs is responsible for the oversight and delivery of complex, enterprise-wide, high-impact, transformational technology projects and multi-project programs. This senior level role drives and directly contributes to the alignment between business needs and IT capabilities to ensure project, program, and portfolio success. This position requires critical thinking, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and understanding of IT program management in the health care, plan, or insurance industry. 


On a typical day, you might:


  • Develop, maintain, and advance collections of related projects with a variety of stakeholders across the enterprise to effectively deliver organization capabilities supporting strategic and operational demands.
  • Accountable for the oversight and governance of a wide variety of IT projects and programs, varying in size and scope from large-scale transformational projects to a program portfolio of related initiatives, ensuring they meet business outcomes. 
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of business acumen and organizational knowledge between administrative, clinical, human resource, information technology, and quality functions including the interaction and interdependencies of each business unit. 
  • Develop, maintain, and execute large-scale comprehensive projects or integrated program plans, including charters, scope definition, communication plans, roadmaps, resource allocation, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risk registers, and dependency management across the portfolio.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Project Managers and Project Analysts, providing talent development, coaching, performance evaluations, and overseeing the requisition process from candidate review and selection to new staff onboarding.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Associate’s degree and minimum of four (4) years’ Program Management experience required in:
    • Leading and managing IT teams in the delivery of IT projects and programs.
    • Project, portfolio, or program management oversight in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, government).
    • Senior or lead role delivering large-scale, complex, IT transformation initiatives.
    • Business-facing and executive-level reporting for IT projects, programs, or transformation initiatives; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of two (2) years’ Program Management experience required in:
    • Leading and managing IT teams in the delivery of IT projects and programs.
    • Project, portfolio, or program management oversight in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, government).
    • Senior or lead role delivering large-scale, complex, IT transformation initiatives.
    • Business-facing and executive-level reporting for IT projects, programs, or transformation initiatives; OR 
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Project Management certification such as Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP,) Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or PRINCE2.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside within North Carolina. 


Preferred:

  • Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting, Sciences, Public Policy or Healthcare Administration. Masters or Advanced degree preferred.
  • Supervision of two (2) or more employees.
