Product Development
Main Goal
- Collaboration with PD, Sales Team, Breeding Team & Marketing,
- Will be one point of contact for the assigned crop for any technical support & crop market information
- Will play a key role in product advancement decision in discussion with PM & NPDM
Job Description
- To establish good communication channel between local sales and Development team to have strong professional relationship.
- To prepare a global trial plan for the crop assigned with consultation with local sale and Development manager.
- Make sure about execution of trial plan.
- Monitor trials, evaluations and gather the trial data from the local development manager.
- To coordinate with data analyst in data compilation, critical analysis of quantitative and qualitative data for presentation to enable for advancing right product to achieve corporate goals.
- Technical support to sales team in complain handling.
- To provide market intelligence & competitor product knowledge to breeders for constructing an ideal product design. To upgrade and acquire strong technical knowledge and train commercial staff for the species assigned.
- To assist the local sales team for forecast planning for the species.
- Proper planning of promotional activity for his crop in consultation with the regional sales manager sales, well before the season.
- In coordination with local sales and development and global PM to synthesize and validate from trial data in promoting varieties to different status.
- Should have the ability to extensively travel and work more closely with local team to judge and evaluate the local trials and gather market information.
- Providing valuable inputs for building sales and marketing strategies.
- In coordination with local sales and PM to decide product launching strategy.
