Job Overview:

Trestle is looking for a Business Development Representative with strong technical instincts who can naturally solve problems and promote our solutions. Our sales team and customer focus are key differentiators in the market. We are professional, curious, and knowledgeable, and we delight our customers with our responsiveness. Here are some of the key responsibilities you will have:

  • Engage with inbound signups and provide ultra-responsive support across email, live chat, phone, and other channels within SLAs, maintaining Trestle’s reputation as the most responsive data provider.


  • Work closely with the sales and customer support teams to learn product and sales processes and provide seamless handoffs.


  • Monitor product usage for prospective and trial customers and proactively add value to customers as they test and integrate with Trestle’s APIs.


  • Optimize conversion rates from trial signups to paid/self-serve customers and grow Wallet share within existing accounts.


  • Conduct product demos and deliver a solution-sales approach that demonstrates value and drives adoption.


  • Maintain consistent follow-up cadences with potential customers and support sales in reactivation campaigns for inactive users.


  • Monitor and engage in relevant virtual communities and social channels (e.g., Reddit, LinkedIn) to capture demand and build awareness.


  • Support enterprise sales team activities, including preparing materials, assisting with follow-ups, and attending customer meetings when needed.


  • Communicate customer insights, market learnings, and product improvement opportunities to enhance the Trestle platform for end users.


  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and team goals by driving customer engagement, activation, and revenue growth.



About You:

  • Completed degree, sales program, or relevant experience
  • Detail-oriented
  • Quick learner
  • Technical acumen
  • Can demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can demonstrate value through prior portfolio projects
  • Can demonstrate how to use an API (please prepare for interview)
  • Prompt and clear communication skills without the use of AI
  • Currently located in the Seattle/Bellevue, Washington, area or willing to relocate prior to the first day.



Nice to have:

  • Sales experience
  • Familiarity with tools, such as Postman/Insomnia
  • Familiarity with CRM platform, like HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with automation platforms, like Zapier, Make.com, and Clay

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive base salary of $70,000, performance-based commission, and stock options. We also provide comprehensive medical benefits.
