Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Travel Team Lead to manage and support a team handling international travel bookings, specifically for USA to India and Canada to India customers. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in flight reservations, customer handling, and team management, with hands-on experience in Amadeus GDS.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support the travel operations team handling USA–India and Canada–India travel customers.
- Assist team members with complex flight bookings, itinerary changes, reissues, cancellations, and fare calculations.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer queries.
- Monitor team productivity, quality, and performance metrics.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve booking accuracy and service quality.
- Handle escalations and provide quick solutions for urgent travel issues.
- Work closely with airlines and suppliers for ticketing support and fare management.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and travel policies.
- Maintain strong knowledge of airline rules, international routing, and fare structures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in international travel operations.
- Prior experience in team handling / team leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amadeus GDS (mandatory).
- Experience handling USA to India and Canada to India travel customers.
- Strong knowledge of international ticketing, reissues, refunds, and fare rules.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage escalations.
Preferred
- Experience in a travel agency / OTA / airline process.
- Knowledge of Sabre or Galileo (added advantage).
