Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Travel Sales Executive to drive customer acquisition, sell travel packages, and accelerate revenue growth for Flytravio.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in travel sales—especially selling international and domestic holiday packages—who excels at converting inquiries into bookings, upselling travel products, and delivering customized travel solutions. You will play a key role in promoting and selling travel packages, planning memorable travel experiences, handling customer interactions, and contributing directly to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales Conversion
- Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries for flights, hotels, and international holiday packages.
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings through effective sales techniques.
Booking & Travel Assistance
- Assist customers with end-to-end travel planning including international tour packages (FIT & Group Tours).
- Prepare detailed itineraries, costing, and proposals based on client requirements.
- Coordinate with DMCs, airlines, hotels, and other travel partners.
- Support customers with modifications, cancellations, visa requirements, and travel-related queries.
Revenue & Target Achievement
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team revenue goals.
- Promote international travel packages, seasonal offers, and destination-based campaigns.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling travel services.
Customer Experience & Retention
- Ensure a seamless and positive customer journey from inquiry to booking completion.
- Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain high standards of service quality and responsiveness.
Coordination & Follow-ups
- Proactively follow up with leads and pending inquiries to maximize conversions.
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to ensure smooth service execution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of experience in travel sales, OTA platforms, or international holiday packages.
- Strong knowledge of international destinations and tour planning.
- Proficiency in itinerary creation, costing, and proposal building.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Knowledge of visa processes and travel documentation.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Online Travel Agencies (OTA) or travel companies.
- Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus / Sabre / Galileo).
- Certification in ticketing (IATA) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems.
- Knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
