Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Sales Consultant role based in Gurugram, focused on selling and servicing UK tour packages. The Travel Sales Consultant will handle customer inquiries, understand travel needs, and recommend suitable UK tour itineraries, accommodations, and related services. Responsibilities include preparing and customizing travel proposals, managing bookings and reservations, and coordinating travel arrangements with suppliers and partners. The role involves providing responsive customer service before and after sales, handling changes or issues in travel plans, and ensuring accurate documentation and payments. The consultant will also support sales targets by following up on leads, maintaining client relationships, and staying updated on UK destinations, visa requirements, and promotional offers.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, with the ability to recommend and plan UK tour packages based on client needs.
- Experience handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including flights, hotels, transfers, and activities.
- Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on clear communication, problem-solving, and client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with travel booking tools or GDS systems and basic understanding of international travel documentation and visa requirements.
- Effective sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to meet or exceed targets and manage a pipeline of leads.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and payments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or tour operations environment, especially with UK or Europe packages, is an advantage.
