We focus on delivering seamless, high-quality travel experiences through strong global DMC partnerships, technology-driven CRM systems, and a high-performance sales team.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly efficient and result-driven Travel Operations Manager who will lead end-to-end operations — from quotation management to execution — ensuring speed, accuracy, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction.
This role requires strong leadership, vendor management, process-building capabilities, and data-driven decision-making through MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management- Oversee complete travel operations lifecycle (lead → quotation → booking → execution)
- Ensure timely delivery of quotes with high accuracy
- Maintain SOP adherence across teams (Telecalling, Sales Experts, Ops)
2. DMC & Vendor Coordination- Handle and build relationships with global DMCs & suppliers
- Ensure minimum 3 competitive quotations per query
- Negotiate best rates, upgrades, and value additions
- Maintain and regularly update vendor database
3. Team Management- Manage Operations Executives & coordinate with Sales Team
- Train team on destinations, costing, and systems
- Track daily productivity and enforce discipline
4. CRM & Process Optimization- Implement and monitor CRM workflow (lead tracking, quotation pipeline)
- Reduce turnaround time (TAT) for quotes
- Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks
- Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness
5. MIS & Reporting - Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Track key metrics:
- Leads received vs quotes delivered
- Conversion ratios
- Revenue & margins
- Destination-wise performance
- Sales team productivity
- Generate real-time dashboards for management review
- Identify trends, leakages, and performance gaps through data analysis
- Work closely with management for data-driven decision making
- Ensure CRM data accuracy and reporting consistency
6. Quality Control- Ensure error-free itineraries, vouchers, and booking confirmations
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards
- Handle escalations and critical/high-value bookings
7. Costing & Profitability- Monitor margins across all bookings
- Ensure profitable pricing strategies
- Avoid costing errors and revenue leakage
8. Execution & Client Experience- Ensure smooth execution of bookings (hotels, transfers, activities, visas)
- Coordinate with vendors for on-ground delivery
- Handle last-minute changes and crisis situations efficiently
Key RequirementsExperience- 4–8 years in travel operations (international & domestic)
- Strong experience in DMC handling, costing, and MIS reporting
- Prior experience in a travel agency or tour operator preferred
Skills- Strong destination knowledge (Europe, Bali, Maldives, Thailand, Japan, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot, VLOOKUP, dashboards)
- CRM knowledge (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
