We're Hiring: Travel Video Editor | Passport Theory
Passport Theory is looking for an experienced Travel Video Editor who has previously edited travel content for YouTube. If you've worked with travel creators, tourism brands, or have created engaging travel films, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
• Edit high-quality cinematic travel videos for YouTube.
• Transform raw footage into compelling, story-driven content.
• Enhance videos with smooth transitions, colour grading, sound design, music, and motion graphics.
• Maintain a premium editing style that reflects the Passport Theory brand.
• Collaborate with our team to deliver videos on schedule.
Requirements
• Prior experience editing travel videos for YouTube is mandatory.
• A strong portfolio showcasing travel-related work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing software.
• Excellent storytelling, pacing, and editing skills.
• Strong understanding of YouTube audience retention and long-form content.
• Ability to accept feedback and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with travel YouTubers, tourism boards, or travel production companies.
• Knowledge of colour grading, audio mixing, subtitles, and motion graphics.
• Experience editing drone footage and action camera content.
