Job details:
This role is not for everyone. It might be perfect for you.
If you find genuine satisfaction in getting a costing sheet exactly right, knowing that a family in Santorini is staying in that villa because you found it — this role is for you.
CustomHolidays is one of India's premier bespoke luxury travel agencies, with preferred partnerships with Kempinski, Anantara, Hyatt Privé, IHG Group, Leading Hotels of the World, Melia, and Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
We build travel experiences from scratch — for clients who expect nothing less than exceptional
What you'll actually do
You'll be the operational engine behind every holiday we build. Your day will involve:
- Building detailed, accurate costing sheets in Excel (hotel, transfers, experiences, flights) for luxury itineraries across the world
- Researching destinations, hotels, and experiences with genuine depth — not just what shows up on the first page of Google
- Liaising with international suppliers, hotels, and ground handlers to confirm rates, availability, and bookings
- Managing multiple client files simultaneously, keeping every detail updated in our CRM
- Designing multi-leg travel routes combining flights, trains, cruises, and private transfers
- Attending industry events, hotel roadshows, and destination expos to sharpen your product knowledge
You won't be on calls with clients directly in this role — but your work is what makes those conversations possible. Every number you quote, every experience you suggest, goes into what our Travel Designers present to some of India's most discerning travellers.
You're probably a good fit if
- You stay calm when five urgent things land on your desk at once
- You catch errors others miss — and you care that they're fixed
- You can research independently and know when something is genuinely right for a client, not just available
- You write clearly and professionally, even when you're busy
- You're the kind of person who reads the brief twice before you start
This is probably not for you if
- You need hand-holding to structure your own day
- You find repetitive precision work draining rather than satisfying
- You get flustered when plans change at the last minute (they will)
What we're looking for
- A degree in BBA, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, BMM, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills — you should be comfortable building and maintaining costing sheets confidently
- Good written communication in English — clear, professional, no fluff
- Genuine curiosity about the world, travel, and hospitality
- Experience in the travel industry is an advantage, but not a barrier if you have the right instincts
Salary
₹25,000 – ₹40,000/month for early-career candidates
₹40,000 – ₹60,000/month for those with demonstrated experience
How to apply
Send us your CV along with a short note (5–7 lines) on a destination you'd love to design a luxury itinerary for — what's the biggest (not worthy) hype of that destination? No template answers. We read everyone.
