Position Overview
Travel Coordinator - Job Description
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of business travel for JLL employees, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and policy-compliant travel arrangements while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Travel Management & Coordination Arrange comprehensive travel itineraries including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and related services for employees across all levels. Process travel requests promptly while ensuring adherence to company travel policies and preferred vendor agreements. Monitor travel bookings and proactively address changes, cancellations, or disruptions to minimize impact on business operations.
Vendor Relations & Cost Management Maintain strong relationships with travel vendors, airlines, hotels, and car rental agencies to secure competitive rates and favorable terms. Negotiate corporate rates where applicable and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality. Track travel expenses and provide regular reporting on travel spend and patterns.
Policy Compliance & Support Ensure all travel arrangements comply with JLL travel policies and procedures. Provide guidance to employees on travel policies, approval processes, and expense reporting requirements. Stay current with travel regulations, visa requirements, and international travel protocols.
Customer Service & Problem Resolution Serve as primary point of contact for travel-related inquiries and issues. Provide 24/7 support for travel emergencies and last-minute changes. Handle complex itineraries and special accommodation requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of experience in corporate travel coordination or related role
- Proficiency with travel booking systems and tools (Concur, Sabre, Amadeus, or similar platforms)
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel logistics
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial real estate or professional services industry
- Certification in travel management (CTC, CTIE)
- Experience with JLL or similar global organization preferred
- Knowledge of expense management systems
