Ciergo is the operating system for modern travel agencies – built by operators, for operators. We're replacing the WhatsApp + Excel + Tally mess most agencies run on with one system built the way travel actually works.
We're hiring a Travel Content Writer. Full-time, Delhi-based.
What you'll be doing:
- Writing the content behind our itinerary builder – destinations, hotels, activities, tours and experiences, one destination at a time, starting with the UAE
- Writing for travel agents, not travellers – content that's accurate, quick to scan, and ready to drop straight into a client's itinerary
- Getting the details right – timings, duration, pickup points, inclusions and exclusions, what to carry, what's seasonal
- Researching from the source – tourism boards, operators, hotels – and writing it all in your own words
- Working directly with the founding team on templates, the style guide, and what the portal needs next
What we're looking for:
- Travel industry experience – agency, DMC, tour operator or OTA. Years matter less than what you know
- Real destination knowledge: you know why a hotel in Deira and one on the Palm are different products, and what a client needs to know before a desert safari
- An understanding of travel content – itinerary copy, hotel and activity descriptions, inclusions and exclusions, and which parts an agent actually needs
- The one non-negotiable: accuracy. Agents put what you write in front of their clients, so a wrong pickup time or a closed attraction becomes a real problem on a real trip
- Clear, simple English: short sentences, no filler, and no "nestled" or "breathtaking" unless they're earned
