Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Travel Consultant – After-Hours/Emergency Support to provide travel assistance and customer support during non-standard business hours.
The role will handle travel bookings, ticketing, reissues, exchanges, schedule changes, and emergency travel situations for Business, Leisure, Retail, and Tours clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for clients during after-hours and emergency situations.
- Handle travel-related queries, disruptions, cancellations, and schedule changes.
- Manage bookings, ticketing, reissues, exchanges, and fare-related transactions.
- Use Sabre, Amadeus, and internal travel systems for travel transactions.
- Interpret fare rules, airline policies, and applicable travel regulations.
- Handle Irregular Operations (IROPs) and schedule change management.
- Manage air, hotel, car, and package bookings according to client-specific policies.
- Maintain accurate call notes, customer records, and follow-up documentation.
- Manage queues, prepare quotations, and provide administrative support.
- Coordinate with DMCs, suppliers, airlines, and internal stakeholders.
- Meet defined SLA, productivity, quality, and service standards.
- Stay updated with airline regulations, travel industry developments, and company procedures.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in corporate or leisure travel.
- Experience in an after-hours, emergency support, or travel call-center environment preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Sabre and Amadeus GDS.
- Good knowledge of ticketing, reissues, exchanges, fare construction, and BSP processes.
- Experience handling IROPs and airline schedule changes.
- Knowledge of corporate travel services and client-specific travel policies.
- Experience with Canadian and US point-of-sale commissions is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ideal Candidate
