Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role involves advising clients on travel options, crafting customized itineraries, and managing end-to-end travel arrangements for both domestic and international tours. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inquiries, providing destination recommendations, preparing travel packages, and coordinating bookings for flights, accommodations, and activities. The Travel Consultant will manage reservations, respond to customer queries, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth travel experience from initial planning through post-trip follow-up. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, working with partners and vendors, and supporting marketing efforts by sharing itinerary ideas and insight into traveler preferences.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to advise clients and design well-structured itineraries.
- Ability to manage Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including bookings for transportation, accommodations, and activities.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication, problem-solving, and traveler satisfaction.
- Knowledge of domestic and international destinations, travel regulations, and visa requirements is beneficial.
- Proficiency with travel booking tools, CRM or reservation systems, and basic office software.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi and other languages is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple itineraries simultaneously.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operations, or hospitality is preferred; relevant certification or a degree in travel, tourism, or hospitality is a plus.
