Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant role based in Madhuravoyal. The Travel Consultant will interact with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets, and then propose suitable domestic and international travel options. Daily responsibilities include planning and coordinating travel itineraries, making reservations for flights, hotels, and ground transportation, and assisting with visa-related documentation where needed. The role involves managing booking changes, cancellations, and special requests, while ensuring accurate records and timely communication with clients and partners. The Travel Consultant will also provide post-booking support, handle customer inquiries and issues professionally, and contribute to improving travel processes and service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Arrangements, with the ability to design appropriate itineraries based on client needs.
- Experience in Travel Management and Reservations, including handling bookings, changes, and cancellations accurately.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to manage expectations calmly and professionally.
- Familiarity with travel booking tools, GDS systems, or online travel platforms is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of domestic and international destinations, travel regulations, and basic visa requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or tour operations environment preferred; relevant certification or a diploma in Travel and Tourism is beneficial.
