Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant role based in Kozhikode. The Travel Consultant will interact with clients to understand their travel needs, propose suitable destinations and itineraries, and manage the complete booking process. Daily responsibilities include handling travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, tours, and transfers, preparing cost estimates, and confirming reservations. The role involves providing prompt customer service, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth travel experience before, during, and after trips. The Travel Consultant will also maintain accurate records, coordinate with travel partners and vendors, and stay updated on travel trends, visa requirements, and destination information.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to design itineraries, advise on destinations, and oversee end-to-end trip planning.
- Experience handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including flights, accommodation, tours, and ground transportation.
- Proven Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple bookings, documentation, and schedules.
- Proficiency with travel booking tools, reservation systems, and basic office software.
- Knowledge of domestic and international destinations, visa processes, and travel regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, collaborate with team members, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field; prior experience in a travel agency or tour operations is an advantage.
