Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves planning and managing end-to-end travel arrangements for individual and corporate clients, including booking flights, trains, buses, hotels, and cabs. The Travel Consultant will provide itinerary recommendations, advise on travel options, and ensure bookings are accurate, cost-effective, and aligned with client preferences and company policies. Day-to-day tasks include handling reservation requests, managing changes and cancellations, coordinating with vendors, and providing prompt customer service and support. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations, promotions, and corporate travel requirements, as well as documenting all bookings and communications in internal systems.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management for corporate and individual clients.
- Candidates should possess skills in organizing Travel Arrangements across flights, trains, buses, hotels, and cabs.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and support clients before and during travel.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Reservations, including booking, modifying, and canceling travel services accurately.
- Relevant experience in a travel agency or corporate travel environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of global distribution systems (GDS) or online booking platforms is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- A diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
