Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, responsible for advising travel agents and customers on suitable international tour packages using the 2xDMC platform. Day-to-day work includes designing customized itineraries, managing reservations for hotels, tours, transfers, and tickets, and ensuring accurate travel arrangements aligned with client preferences and budgets. The role involves coordinating with suppliers and partners, monitoring booking status, and resolving any travel-related issues to ensure a smooth end-to-end experience. The Travel Consultant will provide proactive customer service, maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations and inventory, and contribute feedback to improve platform workflows and offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to design and optimize international tour packages.
- Experience handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including hotels, tours, transfers, and tickets.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage inquiries, handle escalations, and maintain client satisfaction.
- Comfort working with digital travel platforms or booking systems; proficiency with basic office software and online tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in Faridabad, manage multiple bookings simultaneously, and meet timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the travel industry, B2B travel operations, or DMCs is preferred.
- Relevant education in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
