Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Agent role based in Hyderabad. The Travel Agent will consult with clients to understand their travel needs, provide destination and itinerary recommendations, and create tailored travel plans. Daily responsibilities include handling reservations for flights, hotels, and tour packages, arranging car rentals and other ground transportation, and managing complete travel arrangements for individuals, groups, and corporate clients. The role involves delivering responsive customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues, and coordinating with vendors to ensure accurate bookings and smooth travel experiences. The Travel Agent will also support sales activities by presenting travel options, preparing quotations, and following up with clients to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, including flights, hotels, tours, and related services.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage client expectations, and resolve issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess experience with Car Rental and other ground transport coordination as part of end-to-end trip planning.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including prospecting, presenting travel options, and converting inquiries into bookings.
- Candidates should possess good knowledge of popular destinations, basic geography, and travel documentation requirements (visas, passports, insurance).
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in bookings.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with travel booking tools, office software, and digital communication platforms.
- Relevant experience in travel agencies or hospitality, and a diploma or degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field, is preferred.
