Role Description The Travel Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves consulting with travelers to understand their preferences, recommending suitable homestays and destinations, and creating customized travel plans across Karnataka. The Travel Advisor will handle end-to-end travel arrangements, including bookings, itinerary planning, and coordination with homestay partners. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, providing accurate information about stays and local attractions, and ensuring a smooth booking experience. The role also includes monitoring customer feedback, resolving issues promptly, and contributing suggestions to improve guest satisfaction and travel services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure a positive experience throughout the travel planning and stay.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication, to interact effectively with travelers and partners.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Travel Arrangements, such as booking accommodation and planning itineraries tailored to guest needs.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Travel Agency operations, including using booking systems and managing multiple reservations.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of Karnataka tourist destinations, proficiency in English and regional languages, basic computer and CRM skills, and prior experience in hospitality or travel advisory roles.
- A relevant diploma or degree in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent practical experience is valued.
