Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Travel Advisor based in Kolkata. The Travel Advisor will assist clients with planning and booking their travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, and tours. Additional responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, offering personalized travel recommendations, providing support for travel-related issues, and maintaining accurate records of transactions and bookings. The role also involves working closely with travel suppliers and staying updated on industry trends to offer the best solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- Customer Service and Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
- Travel Planning and Itinerary Creation: Experience in crafting personalized travel plans, including flights, accommodations, and excursions.
- Booking and Coordination Skills: Proficiency in using reservation systems or travel booking platforms to organize and manage travel arrangements efficiently.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the travel industry, including airline routes, accommodations, tour packages, and travel regulations.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Ability to handle travel-related challenges and provide clear, effective solutions with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and Technology Proficiency: Competence in using technology for booking and client management, and an eagerness to stay updated on new travel tools or software.
- Relevant Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or related fields, with previous experience in the travel or customer service industry as a plus.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English required; knowledge of additional languages is highly advantageous.
