Engineer - Development

The Engineer - Development will focus on designing, maintaining, and programming tracing products, ensuring compliance with policy and technical standards, and contributing to quality assurance and technical documentation. Day to Day You'll Be: Escalates blockers to the Senior Software Developer when necessary Undertakes iterative developments of the deployable solution Develop to agreed milestones and ensure project run in accordance to a set of targets Adheres to technical constraints Participates in quality assurance to ensure products are fit for purpose Tests own output prior to independent testing Develop against agreed tasks, to the timescales estimated. Maintain a high technical standard personally. Actively participate in project tasks, following own standards. Investigating and resolving errors Creation and maintenance of technical documentation Designs, tests and/or implements products or systems. Solves a range of straightforward problems. Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures. Have exposure to, and the option to become experienced with an array of existing technologies. Maintains team process and procedures. Provides input into technical design documents/design/ implementation.
