Overview
The EMEA Transportation Service Delivery Director is accountable for end-to-end leadership of Transportation service delivery across the EMEA region, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations while advancing PepsiCo’s global Transportation strategy. The role is responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality Transportation services that support business continuity, customer service, and productivity outcomes across diverse markets and operating environments.
This role plays a critical leadership role within the Global Capability Center (GCC) model, partnering closely with Design and Transformation teams to establish and scale Transportation service delivery capabilities within the India (Hyderabad) Capability Center. In parallel, the Director owns the ongoing operation and performance of EMEA Transportation services, ensuring continuity, service excellence, and value delivery as capabilities are established and matured over time. The role requires balancing operational rigor with change, while leading teams through periods of transition and growth.
Operating with an enterprise mindset, the Director translates global Transportation strategy into regional execution, leads integrated Transportation service delivery, including Transportation Control Tower execution, and partners closely with Sector and Business Unit leaders to run a resilient, high-performing Transportation organization. The Director serves as a senior escalation point and trusted partner, ensuring Transportation services remain aligned to business priorities, performance expectations, and long-term capability objectives.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for setting the direction, governance, and operating rhythm for Transportation service delivery for EMEA within the Global Capability Center (GCC) model, while growing and scaling the operation as capabilities are established and expanded in ICC. The Director is accountable for building sustainable service delivery capacity, maintaining high levels of performance, and ensuring the organization can operate effectively at scale. The role requires leading through ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and driving results through others in a highly matrixed environment.
- Lead integrated Transportation service delivery across EMEA, ensuring consistent execution and performance across planning, carrier management, execution, monitoring, and performance management
- Grow and scale Transportation service delivery capabilities, establishing sustainable operating models and capacity as services expand
- Act as the senior Transportation service partner for EMEA Sector and Business Unit leadership, aligning service delivery priorities with business needs
- Partner with Design and Transformation teams to translate capability designs and transformation into executable operating models and lead service readiness and transitions into the Global Capability Center
- Drive productivity initiatives and value realization across Transportation services, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost performance
- Lead, develop, and coach Transportation leaders, building organizational capability, leadership depth, and a strong culture of accountability and collaboration
- Set and govern service delivery standards, operating routines, and performance expectations across regions and Business Units
- Own enterprise-level operational decision-making and escalation governance for Transportation services, including risk management and continuity planning
- Champion adoption of global Transportation best practices, standards, and playbooks, ensuring consistent application while allowing for local business needs
Qualifications
Key Skills/Experience Required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Supply Chain/Logistics) preferred.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain leadership, with demonstrated responsibility for multi-country operations.
- Proven experience leading Transportation operations, including carrier management, control tower execution, compliance, and performance governance.
- Experience building or scaling operational capabilities in complex environments, ideally including shared services or capability centers.
- Experience operating in a matrixed organization, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.

- People & Organization Leadership – Experience leading leaders, building organizational capability, and developing strong succession pipelines.
- Digital & Control Tower Fluency (Plus) – Working knowledge of Transportation systems and analytics (e.g., TMS); familiarity with Transportation Control Tower operating models is a strong advantage.
