Abhi Impact Logistics Solution Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Transport Manager to join our team in Sriperumbudur, Chennai. As a Transport Manager, you will oversee and manage our warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
Responsibilities
- As the Transport Manager at Abhi Impact Logistics Solution Pvt. Ltd., your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing warehouse and logistics operations efficiently.
- Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the quality of goods.
- Dispatching items in a timely and efficient manner.
- Generating and maintaining inventory reports to support operational needs.
- Implementing and optimizing transportation strategies to meet company objectives.
- Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitoring transportation costs and negotiating contracts with logistics providers.
- Resolving any issues or discrepancies related to transportation and logistics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation logistics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
