Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Churu for a Transport Coordinator. The Transport Coordinator will oversee daily transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery. Key responsibilities include liaising with drivers, clients, and internal teams, monitoring fleet performance, addressing operational issues, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. The role requires proactive problem-solving, efficient communication, and a focus on operating standards to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Operations Management and Transportation Management skills, with a focus on optimizing routes and ensuring smooth logistics
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients, drivers, and team members effectively
- Excellent Organization Skills for managing schedules, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining regulatory compliance
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools to manage schedules and operations is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or transportation management are an advantage
