Reports To: Leasing General Manager
Department: Leasing
Minimal Job Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field of study; Business to Business Sales Related Experience is a plus.
Function:
Develop profitable new customer relationships, maintain and grow current business in the leasing and rental department. Manage a small fleet of commercial rental trucks focusing on utilization and profitability.
The major duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Focus attention on new customers in the territory through regular communication and demonstrating a high level of service.
· Great opportunity for recent or soon to be college grads.
· Educate and develop the prospect or customer's interests in Transource.
· Maintain awareness of competitive offerings and products.
· Develop & maintain a pipeline of prospects and new accounts through in person sales calls and prospecting via the telephone
· Develop sales plans, analyze the profitability of accounts, fully understanding the competitive influences and risks within each account
· Demonstrate problem solving skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Possess a high degree of initiative and be self-motivated
· Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
· Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
· Flexibility to operate and be self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
· Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
· Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
· Perform all other duties assigned by manager
