We are seeking a motivated early-career professional to join our team as a Translational Disease Biology Manager, this job is on-site, in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for candidates interested in applying biological understanding to real-world drug delivery challenges in the upper and lower respiratory system.
The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary. As a result, they will also be overseeing specific personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Support evaluation of upper airway biology and disease mechanisms
- Assist in identifying drug deposition target regions
- Review scientific literature and summarize findings
- Contribute to understanding: mucociliary clearance, mucus properties, airflow and obstruction
- Assist in comparing acute vs chronic disease conditions
- Help translate biological insights into structured product requirements
- Support preparation of: technical reports, literature summaries, regulatory-style documents
- Maintain organized literature databases and evidence trackers
- Collaborate with internal teams and support external partners
Required Qualifications
- PhD / MD / PharmD / Master’s in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Physiology, or related fields
- 3-8+years experience in: Respiratory biology, Translational science, Drug delivery research
- Experience in nasal/pulmonary/mucosal delivery is a strong plus
Core Strengths
- Familiarity with: PubMed, Google Scholar, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Basic scientific writing and documentation
- Ability to read and interpret scientific literature
- Interest in drug delivery and respiratory biology
- Exposure to tools like BioRender, Mendeley, or Zotero is a plus
