Position: Kannada Language Expert
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $40 - $95/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Translate, edit, and localize content between Kannada and English.
- Review and refine Kannada language datasets for AI model training.
- Proofread and enhance text to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.
- Annotate and curate linguistic data for machine learning applications.
- Evaluate AI-generated Kannada content and provide detailed feedback.
- Develop linguistic guidelines, glossaries, and style standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support language-related initiatives.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Kannada with strong reading and writing skills.
- Strong experience in translation, editing, and written communication.
- Excellent attention to detail in grammar, tone, and linguistic accuracy.
- Experience working with text datasets or language-related projects.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain cultural sensitivity and quality standards.
