What We’re Looking For in a Clinical Team Leader:
- Compassionate and caring attitude with a genuine concern for patients

- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with patients, families, and team members
- Previous supervisory experience required (minimum 2 years)
- In-depth understanding of hospice care and clinical protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of high-quality patient care on a 24-hour basis
- Manage personnel actions such as hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and scheduling
- Coordinate patient care issues with families, physicians, and healthcare providers
- Ensure complete, timely, and accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with policies and regulations
- Lead interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings and case conferences to align care goals
- Oversee regulatory compliance, clinical quality improvement, and staff development initiatives
- Review and implement policies and procedures to maintain agency standards
- Cover Management Back-Up (MBU) responsibilities as assigned
- Case manage patients when needed or requested
Requirements:
- Current RN license in North Carolina
- 2 years of supervisory experience required
- 5 years of recent clinical experience in hospice, home health, or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of reimbursement sources, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, licensing laws, and accreditation standards
- Must meet pre-employment and ongoing state and federal training requirements
