Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Transcriptionist. The Transcriptionist will be responsible for listening to audio recordings and accurately transcribing the content into written format. Daily tasks include ensuring the quality and accuracy of transcripts, following templates and guidelines provided, performing revisions as needed, and meeting deadlines. Attention to detail and adaptability to different audio content types are essential to ensure high standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Strong listening and typing skills, with proficiency in transcribing audio to text
- Familiarity with grammar, punctuation, and formatting rules for transcription
- Ability to conduct basic research to clarify unclear terms or terminology
- Experience with transcription software and tools; knowledge of foot pedal operations is a plus
- Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality output
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- Previous experience in transcription is preferred
