KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create accurate subtitles for short-form and long-form video content.
• Convert spoken dialogue into clean, structured transcripts.
• Break down long sentences into concise, readable subtitle lines.
• Ensure proper timing, sync, and readability of subtitles.
• Proofread content for grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
• Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and style across videos.
• Work and coordinate with a team of interns on project execution.
REQUIREMENTS
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in content writing, subtitling, or transcription.
• Strong command of English including grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify spoken language without losing meaning.
• Good listening skills and ability to catch nuances in speech.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
TOOLS & SOFTWARE
We do not expect you to know every tool, but familiarity with any of the following is a plus: Descript, Aegisub, or a similar subtitling tool.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS
• Background in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, or any related field is preferred. • Must have a personal laptop that can be brought to the office.
