The Opportunity
We are looking for a Transaction / Corporate Lawyer - Associate with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience, who is building their foundation in deal work and is eager to deepen their exposure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and curious. Someone who is ready to take ownership of their workstreams, contribute meaningfully to transactions, and grow through practical, on-the-job learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and progressively take ownership of work in M&A and PE/VC transactions and Retainership assignments
- Draft, review, and assist in negotiating key transaction documents (SHA, SSA, SPA, etc.)
- Handle general corporate and advisory work
- Conduct legal research and due diligence, with a focus on accuracy and commercial relevance
- Work closely with senior team members to deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice
- Coordinate with founders, investors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
- Manage timelines, documentation, and deliverables with a strong eye for detail and quality
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, M&A, or VC/PE transactions
- Strong Fundamentals: Solid grounding in corporate and transaction law with the ability to apply concepts practically
- Ownership Mindset: Willingness to take responsibility for tasks, follow through diligently, and build reliability
- Problem-Solving Approach: Ability to think through issues and contribute to practical, solution-oriented outcomes
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, structure, and quality in drafting and review
- Execution Ability: Comfortable working across multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment with guidance
- Team Orientation: Open to collaboration, feedback, and learning from peers and seniors
- Learning Agility: Eager to build expertise, ask questions, and continuously improve
