We are looking for an experienced
TrakSYS SME to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of MES solutions across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with TrakSYS, strong technical development skills, and the ability to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable MES solutions.
This role is critical for driving digital transformation, enhancing system reliability, and enabling strong alignment between manufacturing, engineering, and IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of MES TrakSYS implementations including design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment.
- Function as the SME for WIP, Batching, OEE, and other MES modules.
- Work closely with business users to gather requirements, understand MES user stories, and convert them into technical specifications.
- Prepare and present product demos to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors for advanced troubleshooting and solution enhancements.
- Ensure alignment with ISA‑95 architecture and ITIL processes.
- Provide initiative-taking support for MES applications including on-floor manufacturing support.
- Maintain strong documentation aligned with engineering and architectural standards.
- Offer guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to MES engineers.
Qualifications
- Master/ bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with TrakSYS MES implementation.
- Proficiency in .NET technologies (C# or VB.Net).
- Deep SQL Server expertise including stored procedures, queries, and SQL Reporting Services.
- Experience with OPC connections and industrial communication protocols.
- Working knowledge of ASP.Net, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 (nice-to-have).
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of ISA‑95 manufacturing models.
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as chemical, pharma, automotive, or similar.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem Management).
