Role Description The Training Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur, responsible for planning, delivering, and monitoring training sessions for adolescents and young people in Magic Bus programmes. This role involves conducting classroom and field-based training on life skills, employability skills, and workplace readiness, using participatory and learner-centric methods. The Training Officer will assess learning needs, develop session plans and training materials aligned with programme objectives, and track participant progress through regular evaluations and feedback. The role includes coordinating with programme teams, schools, community centers, and livelihood centers to schedule sessions, maintain accurate training records, and support job placement and post-placement activities as required. The Training Officer will also participate in capacity-building workshops, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of training content and delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Training & Development and Training skills, including experience designing and delivering structured learning sessions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for facilitating groups, engaging diverse learners, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess training needs, interpret participant performance data, and improve training effectiveness.
- Candidates should possess Employee Training experience or similar background in youth training, education, or skill development programmes.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, human resources, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience working with young people from underserved communities and familiarity with employability or livelihood programmes will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in local languages and basic computer skills (MS Office, digital learning tools) is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Raipur, manage multiple training batches, and maintain accurate documentation and reports is required.
