Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Training Manager at Merlis Hotels Coimbatore. The Training Manager will develop and manage staff training programs to ensure excellent service delivery and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include conducting training needs assessments, creating training materials, organizing workshops, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. The role will also involve mentoring and coaching staff across various departments to uphold Merlis Hotels’ exceptional service standards and foster professional growth within the team.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to inspire and guide teams effectively.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs, including developing materials and conducting evaluations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills for effective collaboration with team members across departments.
- Organizational, planning, and time management skills to coordinate training sessions and monitor progress.
- Background in hospitality or a related field is preferred, with knowledge of hospitality standards and practices being highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training tools or software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to staff development and problem-solving.
- Relevant work experience in the hospitality industry is a must.
