Role Description
The Training Manager will design, implement, and evaluate training programs that build workforce capability, with a strong focus on developing training program and handle the entire training program for new joinees in sales and marketing to equip them with product knowledge, compliance awareness, and customer engagement skills. By driving continuous learning, monitoring training effectiveness, and fostering a culture of performance excellence, the Training Manager will play a critical role in enhancing employee productivity, supporting organizational growth, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance across the department
Qualifications: B.Pharm/M.Pharm/M.Sc in Lifesciences
Experience: 5+ years experienced in the Pharma Training/Learning & Development and 5+ years experienced in Pharma Sales & Marketing.
Job Responsibilities :
- Design & Implement Training Programs: Develop structured training modules for technical, soft skills, compliance, and leadership development across the company.
- Training of Sales & Marketing Joinees: Create and deliver induction programs for new hires in pharma sales and marketing, focusing on product knowledge, ethical practices, and customer engagement.
- Monitor Training Effectiveness: Establish KPIs, collect feedback, and conduct impact assessments to measure training outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies in all training initiatives.
- Capability Development: Identify skill gaps and implement targeted learning interventions to enhance workforce performance and career growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, HR, and leadership teams to align training with business priorities and support orgPharma Industry Knowledge:anizational growth.
- Team Management: Guide, mentor, and evaluate the L&D team to ensure high-quality delivery and professional development.
- Continuous Learning Culture: Promote a culture of ongoing learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on training activities, outcomes, and compliance for senior management review.
Skill required
- Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate the team while managing cross-functional collaboration.
- Training Design & Delivery: Expertise in creating structured training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules tailored to pharma industry needs.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, sales processes, marketing strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Onboarding & Induction Programs: Skill in developing effective onboarding frameworks for new sales and marketing joinees.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for delivering impactful training and engaging diverse audiences.
- Analytical & Evaluation Skills: Ability to measure training effectiveness using KPIs, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of industry regulations, ethical practices, and quality standards in pharma.
- Strategic Thinking: Capability to align training initiatives with organizational goals and long-term business strategies.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Skill in addressing training challenges, customizing solutions, and adapting to evolving business needs.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital training tools, and modern instructional technologies.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building abilities to collaborate with sales, marketing, HR, and leadership teams.
