Job description: Training Content and Quality Manager Role Overview
The Training Content & Quality Manager will lead the design, standardisation, and quality assurance of training content across Empower Pragati’s programmes. The role spans diverse thematic areas including soft skills, livelihood and entrepreneurship, road safety, community development, and technical skilling.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Conduct periodic Training Needs Analysis (TNA) by interacting with employers, field teams, and students to identify current skill gaps and emerging market demands.
- Design structured curricula, session plans, facilitator guides, and participant materials across programmes, aligned with industry and programme requirements.
- Design modular, practice-oriented training content using participatory methods, tailored for diverse learner groups and aligned with livelihood and workplace outcomes.
- Standardise training formats, templates, and instructional approaches across programmes.
- Adapt content for different durations, formats, and learner profiles.
- Support translation and localisation of content where required.
- Create engaging and interactive training materials, including trainer guides, learner workbooks, assessment tools, and digital content.
- Identify and manage subject matter experts to co-create and refine technical training content, ensuring quality and consistency, and build a pool of domain experts across sectors.
- Design and adapt training content for digital and blended learning formats, including e- learning modules, self-paced content, and facilitator-supported virtual sessions.
Learning Assessments & Improvement
- Develop pre/post assessments, exercises, and practice activities.
- Support pilot testing of new modules and refine content based on feedback.
- Analyse training feedback and audit findings to improve curriculum.
- Update content periodically to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Training of Trainers
- Identify trainer capability gaps and design Training of Trainers (ToT) programmes for new and revised modules.
- Conduct ToT workshops covering content, facilitation methodology, and assessment approach.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to trainers during rollout of new curricula.
Training Quality & Delivery Audits
- Establish and implement SOPs for training delivery, trainer certification processes, and center- level QA mechanisms.
- Assess trainer effectiveness, learner engagement, and adherence to curriculum.
- Maintain a centralized, version-controlled repository of all training assets, including master versions of PPTs, videos, and assessment banks, ensuring only the latest approved content is used in the field
- Develop observation tools, audit checklists, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct periodic classroom observations and training quality reviews.
Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in curriculum design, training content development, learning design, or training quality roles.
- Experience designing training content across multiple thematic areas such as soft skills, employability, livelihoods, entrepreneurship, or community-based programmes.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and participatory, activity-based training methodologies.
- Experience conducting training observations, trainer assessments, or quality reviews of programme delivery preferred.
- Ability to translate programme objectives and concepts into structured, facilitator-friendly session plans and learning materials.
- Strong writing, structuring, and documentation skills, with attention to clarity and usability for field teams.
- Experience working in skilling, livelihood, education, or nonprofit programme environments preferred.
Salary Range: Upto 10 Lakhs per annum (Based on prior experience and last drawn)
