Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Trainer - Solar Lighting Assembler, based in Kannur. The Trainer will be responsible for educating and training individuals in the assembly, operation, and maintenance of solar lighting systems. Daily tasks include preparing training materials, conducting hands-on training sessions, assessing trainees' skills, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues and staying updated on advancements in solar technology to ensure high-quality training delivery.
Qualifications
- Expertise in solar lighting assembly and maintenance, including familiarity with solar panels, batteries, and circuitry
- Strong instructional and training skills, including the ability to simplify technical concepts and provide clear guidance
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to solar lighting systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees
- Basic computer proficiency for preparing training materials and maintaining documentation
- Ability to work on-site in Trivandrum and manage training schedules effectively
- Prior experience in a similar training role or vocational education is a plus
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in renewable energy, electrical engineering, or a related field are advantageous
