Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar for a Trainer in Electrical Technology cum Vertical Transportation (Lift & Escalators). The trainer will deliver classroom and practical sessions on electrical technology, lift and escalator systems, and safety procedures, using modern training tools and laboratory equipment. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing and updating curriculum materials, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The role involves supervising practical workshops, ensuring adherence to safety standards, maintaining training equipment, and supporting learners in projects and skill competitions. The trainer will also participate in industry outreach, continuous improvement of training practices, and faculty development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Technology, including lift and escalator systems.
- Proficiency in Electrical Safety and Electrical Maintenance for training and workshop environments.
- Experience in Training, learner mentoring, and competency-based assessment.
- Skills in Curriculum Development and instructional planning for technical education.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; specialized experience in vertical transportation (lifts and escalators) preferred.
- Ability to conduct practical demonstrations, interpret technical drawings, and use relevant tools and testing equipment.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse groups of learners.
- Comfort with using digital tools, learning management systems, and multimedia resources for training.
- Commitment to learner-centered teaching, safety compliance, and continuous professional development.
