Role Description The Trainee Process Associate in Healthcare (RCM) role is a remote position focused on supporting the revenue cycle processes for healthcare providers. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and processing patient billing information, validating insurance details, updating financial records, and assisting in claims submission and follow-up. The role involves working with standardized workflows, entering accurate data into RCM systems, monitoring claim status, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. The Trainee Process Associate will also respond to basic provider or stakeholder queries, adhere to compliance and quality guidelines, and participate in training sessions to build expertise in healthcare RCM operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and resolve billing or claims issues.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance to understand revenue cycle concepts, payments, and adjustments.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments, including working with process-driven workflows and performance metrics.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic understanding of healthcare terminology or willingness to learn healthcare RCM processes through training.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet productivity and quality targets.
- Minimum educational qualification such as a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in commerce, business, healthcare, or related fields; prior experience in healthcare BPO or RCM is an advantage but not mandatory for trainees.
