Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Trainee Medical Coder located in Jaipur. The Trainee Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records, precisely assigning standard codes, and maintaining compliance with current coding guidelines. Daily tasks include interpreting medical documentation, ensuring accuracy in coding processes, and supporting the organization's revenue cycle operations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Medical Coding, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) guidelines, and CPT codes
- Detail-oriented skills in analyzing medical records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals and team members
- Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new coding techniques and technologies
- Proficiency in using basic computer systems and tools used for medical coding
- Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) or a related healthcare qualification is preferred
- Background in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field is highly beneficial
- Strong commitment to maintaining patient data confidentiality and compliance with regulatory guidelines
