Role Description The Traffic Manager will oversee daily transport operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching vehicles to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves coordinating with drivers, warehouse teams, and client representatives to manage load planning, resolve route issues, and monitor shipment status. The Traffic Manager will track performance metrics, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role also includes optimizing fleet utilization, addressing service escalations, and supporting continuous process improvements to enhance overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in transport planning, route optimization, and daily traffic management for trucking and logistics operations.
- Ability to coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers, with clear and professional communication skills.
- Competence in maintaining transport documentation, tracking shipments, and using basic logistics or fleet management software.
- Sound understanding of safety standards and regulatory guidelines in transportation and freight handling.
- Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
