Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Indore for a Traffic Manager – Truck Placement. The Traffic Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of truck placement, ensuring timely vehicle allocation as per client requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with drivers and fleet vendors, monitoring vehicle movement, ensuring compliance with regulations, and troubleshooting operational challenges. The individual will liaise with clients and internal teams to optimize efficiency, handle spot bookings, and develop data-driven solutions for logistical demands.
Qualifications
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage driver allocations, vehicle tracking, and vendor relationships
- Experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly in truck placement and freight services
- Proficiency in data monitoring, reporting, and optimizing operational efficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to make swift operational decisions
- Proven experience in handling spot requirements and tenders
- Working knowledge of logistics management software and basic computer skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
