Traffic/Transportation CAD Drafting Resource Responsibilities
- Traffic/transportation drawing deliverables including the following-
- Road Traffic Signage and Marking Plans,
- Road Furniture Plans,
- Interchange and Junction Layout Drawings,
- Circulation plans, Swept Path Analysis (Turning Radius),
- Traffic Management Plans,
- Diversion/Barricading Plans,
- Various Traffic-related and Highway-related Miscellaneous Typical Furniture Drawings development, fabrication detailing, other site implementation drawings,
- Accurate drawing production.
- Accurate report extraction for quantification and implementation.
- Road Furniture/Road Safety design support for various types of roadways (National Highways, Expressways, SMART city, etc.) for development projects using various IRC codes and other national and international codes, etc.
- Produce drawings from the designs for submission to Client.
- Coordinate with site / construction team and other internal / external stakeholders as per project’s requirements.
- Prepare visualization, presentation, and other deliverables.
- Prepare well-formatted reports for submission.
Essential Skills And Knowledge
- In depth knowledge of AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks, EXCEL and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of automation, AI tools, LISP and Python coding, etc. will carry weightage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience working in Indian/overseas projects; Experience of 5 or more years will be preferred.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn Traffic/Transportation CAD drafting with experience of multidisciplinary projects, preferably experience in Detailed Design and Construction Support of road infrastructure projects in India or, international experience.
- Knowledge / understanding of bid / tender documents and drawings.
- Awareness of Highway Geometric Design CAD.
- Visualization, creating animation.
