Job Summary
We are looking for a Transport Executive responsible for arranging vehicles from the market to ensure timely placement for shipments. The candidate will coordinate with transporters, negotiate freight rates, and ensure smooth dispatch operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Arrange vehicles (trucks/containers) from the market as per load requirement
- Coordinate with transporters, and vendors for vehicle placement
- Negotiate freight rates and ensure cost-effective hiring
- Ensure on-time vehicle placement for dispatch
- Maintain vendor database and transporter network
- Follow up with drivers for reporting, loading, and movement
- Track vehicle status and update internal teams
- Handle last-minute requirements and urgent placements
- Resolve placement delays and operational issues
- Maintain records of freight rates, trips, and vendor details
🔹 Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (Logistics/Supply Chain preferred)
- 1–4 years' experience in transport/vehicle placement/logistics operations
- Strong network of transporters and brokers (preferred)
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
