Weekend Memory Care Activities Assistant

As a Memory Care Activities Assistant, you’ll support the Memory Care Director in creating a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for residents living with memory challenges. Your enthusiasm and empathy will help residents feel connected, happy, and engaged.

Memory Care Activities Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Carries out monthly activity calendar with varied activities.

·         Involves resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to help the resident transition and maintain a satisfying wellbeing and positive state of mind.

·         Encourages residents to participate in meaningful activities.

·         Maintains all activity areas in a neat and orderly manner.

·         Maintains community involvement.

Memory Care Activities Assistant Qualifications and Skills:

·         Valid State issued driver’s license and must be 21 years of age.

Operates and manages senior living and memory care communities.
