Role Description
This is a full-time job , India, for an agri-commodity Trader at Grain Connect. The Trader will perform market research, identify new trade opportunities, and build relationships with suppliers and buyers across various customer segments, such as ethanol plants and cattle feed manufacturers. The role involves negotiating contracts, monitoring market trends, and ensuring efficient bulk trade execution. The Trader will also analyze pricing, generate trade insights, and support the development of long-term sourcing and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in trade operations, contract negotiation, and market analysis within the agri-commodity or related sectors
- Strong analytical and research skills for market insights and price intelligence
- Excellent communication skills for supplier and buyer relationship management
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain coordination
- Ability to work on-site in an office environment , India
- Relevant educational background in Agriculture, Business, Economics, or related fields
- Understanding of maize, broken rice, and DDGS industrial ecosystems is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced trading environment
