Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Trade Sales role based in Mumbai but involves travelling across India. The Trade Sales professional will focus on driving sales of wallcoverings through trade channels including distributors, dealers, while building and maintaining strong business relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new trade opportunities, conducting sales visits and product presentations, negotiating and closing deals, and ensuring timely order processing and follow-up. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams on pricing, inventory, and logistics, providing responsive customer service, and gathering market insights to support sales strategies. The Trade Sales professional will be expected to consistently meet sales targets, represent the brand professionally, and contribute to the growth of Marshalls in key markets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Trade Sales and Trading skills for managing dealer networks and institutional clients.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging with stakeholders and resolving queries effectively.
- Candidates should have proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in building materials, interior products, or related industries.
- Candidates should be comfortable with frequent client visits within Mumbai and across India.
