A key component of this role is the importance of connecting our data with what is happening across the business so we are looking for a passionate Senior Insights Analyst with commercial acumen who has a keen interest in working with all things data focusing initially on our Trade Me Jobs business. You'll play an important role in understanding our audience, engagement, revenue, inventory and providing meaningful insights that help us to identify opportunities, test hypotheses and inform our sales, product, and marketing strategies. This role can be based out of Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. Here's what you can expect from this role: * Work with stakeholders to answer both open ended and specific, narrowly defined questions questions using our data * Work with product managers and squad members to ideate and undertake competitor research (if required), thinking of ways to evaluate options and influence the direction of products aligned to the Trade Me Strategic focus areas * Proactively investigate reasons and possible causes for user behaviour with sight of the potential for commercial value * Dig into the data to understand the drivers of our business, causes of the trends and what we can do about it * Design, produce and present insights products to stakeholders across the business in a way that allows them to make decisions * Lead the use of data to evaluate experimentation such as A/B test design and monitoring within your squad * Maintain and develop dashboards & data driven processes for BAU reporting ad adhoc questions * Develop insights generation techniques using a variety of tools ranging from first principles approaches to AI and machine learning.
