Role Description
The Trade Marketing Manager / Branding Coordinator is responsible for driving brand visibility, trade engagement, and demand generation across channels. This role combines trade marketing execution with branding, digital marketing, and on-ground promotional activities to ensure consistent brand presence and support sales growth. The role acts as a key link between sales, marketing, vendors, and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
A. Trade Marketing & Channel Development
• Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Plan and implement channel-specific promotions to increase sell-in and sell-out
• Design and execute loyalty programmes, incentive programs, and retail activations
• Track competitor activities and market trends to optimize strategies
B. In-Shop Branding & Retail Visibility
• Take ownership of in-shop branding for new and existing business partners
* Execute product displays in dealer showroom as per company display policy
• Ensure proper deployment of branding materials (signage, displays, POSM)
• Conduct regular market visits to audit visibility and execution standards
• Coordinate with vendors for production and installation of branding materials
C. Digital Marketing (SMO & SEO)
• Manage and coordinate Social Media Optimization (SMO) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities
• Handle external agencies/vendors for digital marketing execution
• Monitor performance metrics such as traffic, engagement, and lead generation
• Ensure brand consistency across digital platforms
D. Exhibitions & Events Management
• Take end-to-end ownership of exhibitions and trade shows
• Plan booth design, branding, logistics, and promotional materials
• Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams
• Ensure smooth execution and post-event reporting (leads, ROI, feedback)
E. Marketing Collateral & Content Development
• Design and develop product catalogues, brochures, and other marketing materials
• Coordinate with designers and printers for timely production
• Ensure materials are updated, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines
• Support sales teams with relevant marketing collateral
F. ATL & BTL Marketing Activities
• Plan and execute ATL (Above The Line) activities such as print ads, radio, and outdoor campaigns
• Drive BTL (Below The Line) initiatives including in-store promotions, activations, and local marketing
• Evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize future activities
H. Budgeting & Vendor Management
• Manage trade marketing and branding budgets effectively
• Negotiate with vendors and agencies for cost efficiency
• Track expenses and ensure ROI-driven spending
I. Reporting & Analytics
• Monitor KPIs such as sales growth, campaign performance, and ROI
• Generate regular reports and insights for management
• Use data-driven approaches for continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• MBA preferred
Experience:
• 4–8 years of experience in trade marketing, branding, or related roles
• Experience in FMCG / consumer durable / retail industry preferred
