Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Trade Finance Associate to manage import/export transactions and ensure smooth execution of trade-related financial and documentation processes. The role requires close coordination with banks, customs agents, and regulatory authorities while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage trade finance activities, including end-to-end import/export documentation and related financial transactions.
- Handle documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, shipping bills, and other trade-related documents.
- Liaise with banks, customs agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for shipment planning, payments, and documentation accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with RBI/FEMA guidelines and import-export regulations.
- Support in handling LCs (Letters of Credit), BGs (Bank Guarantees), and remittance processes, where applicable.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and compliance checks.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in trade finance, import/export operations, or banking.
- Strong understanding of import-export documentation and processes.
- Familiarity with RBI/FEMA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of LCs, BGs, and international payment processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
